Fayetteville Oldtime Music and Dance present an evening of Square Dancing at Ozark Beer Co. On the first Wednesday of the month beginning February 2nd, join for music, dance lessons, bbq and fresh beer in the brewhouse. Fayetteville Old Time Music and Dance are skilled musicians and experienced teachers. Experience is not necessary for these professionals. Each dance will be taught, called and led by the band.
Tyler’s Craft BBQ joins us to fill our brewhouse with the smells of smoked pork and our bellies with the artful delicacies he has become so famous for.
Square dance is defined as “a country dance that starts with four couples facing one another in a square, with the steps and movements shouted out by a caller.” And according to American Square Dance.com, Square dancing is “Fun set to music.” They say that dancing is cheaper than therapy, and many argue more effective. Well, whatever your condition, this night is the prescription. Come spend a night with your neighbors dancing and laughing the way our forbearers would, except with way fresher and better beer.
The cost is pay what you like, as long as you come hungry and ready to dance.. Feb 3 / Mar. 2/ April 6 / 7pm. Pay what you like.
