Cranksgiving is back and bigger than ever this year on November 18th! Cranksgiving is a food drive on two wheels that is part bike ride, part food drive and part scavenger hunt. It takes place nationwide in over 100 cities across the United States and Canada. All you need is a bike, a bag and a helmet to ride; however, you don’t need to ride to donate food!

This event is free and family-friendly. At the event cyclists will be given a food list and will cycle around the city collecting the items on the list. Riders are encouraged to bring $15-20 for their purchases and a bag/backpack to carry these items. Cyclists choose their route and teams can only purchase up to 4 items at each location. Participants will gather food for traditional Thanksgiving dinners and after all purchases are made everyone will return back to the brewery with their goods.

We are excited to add a friendly food raising competition into the mix with Bike Rack Brewing Co. and Fossil Cove Brewing Co. to see who can collect the most pounds of food! All three events take place on November 18th and registration begins at noon. Each brewery is tasked to gather the largest amount of food by weight.
