March 14th or 3.14 is known as Pi Day and we are excited once again to celebrate! Pi, also written π, is the Swiss Army knife of numbers. No matter how big or small a circle – from the size of the universe to the size of an apple pie to the size of a carbonation bubble – the ratio of a circle’s circumference (the distance around it) to its diameter (the distance across it) is always equal to pi or 3.14.
Fun fact – if you write 3.14 on a piece of paper and look at it in the mirror it spells Pie! Math nerds, Frito pie fans, local pie lovers and craft beer drinkers meet Pi Day at Ozark Beer Company - a day to celebrate it all.
Along with our regular selection of beers and the ever rotating small batch options, starting at 3.14 pm we will be serving up some of our area's tastiest pies from Gooseberry Handmade Pies. Steak and Taters will be on site with some delicious Frito pies as well. All food will be available while supplies last!
The fun continues at 6pm with a 3.14 mile run and family friendly bike ride from the brewery. NWA No Drop Cycling will be leading the bike ride and Benton Country Running Club will lead the run. No one will be left behind and this will be a wonderful way to connect with these clubs.
