Jessica Keahey (Sweet Freedom Cheese) and Amy Hearting (Ozark Beer Co.) will discuss the basics of cheesemaking & brewing before leading an interactive guided sensory journey thru their favorite beer and cheese pairings of the season. Participants will enjoy 5 specially selected beer and cheese pairings, including generous accompaniments. You'll be sure to find some surprising favorites and learn some helpful guidelines for choosing successful beverage partners for your favorite fromage!

About Your Instructors:
Jessica Keahey is the owner and Big Cheese at Sweet Freedom Cheese, the first cut-to-order cheese shop in Arkansas. Jessica has studied extensively with cheese experts from around the globe, making and mongering, for the past 10 years. She has earned the distinction of being named a Certified Cheese Professional by the American Cheese Society and holds a Level 3 sommelier certification from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust while also teaching Beverage Management at Brightwater Culinary College.
