Cranksgiving in the Ozarks is back in downtown Rogers for the 3rd year!
Cranksgiving is a food drive on two wheels. Part bike ride, part food drive, and part scavenger hunt, it takes place in November in over 100 cities across the United States and Canada. All you need is a bike, a bag, and a helmet!
This year, Cranksgiving will take place on November 23rd, and we will gather food for traditional Thanksgiving dinners for our community. This event is not just about the food but about coming together as a community. It's free and family-friendly, with signups beginning at the brewery at 11:30 am. The rider meeting, instructions, and send-off happen at noon, marking the start of a day of community, cycling, and charity. On the day of the event, cyclists will be given a food list and will bike around the city collecting the items on the list. Riders are encouraged to bring $15-20 for their purchases and a bag/backpack to carry these items. Cyclists choose their route, and teams can only purchase up to 4 items at each location. Once all purchases are made, participants return to the brewery with their goods, where the food will be sorted and weighed, and prizes will be given in multiple categories.
Individuals and teams of up to 4 participants are welcome to sign up. All food will be donated to the food pantry at CARE Community Clinic in Rogers. All Bodies on Bikes and Gnargo Bike Company will be on-site, helping pull off a successful food drive and sponsoring a category prize.
