What is an IdeaFame Live Contest?
The IdeaFame Live Contest, brought to you by Startup Junkie, is an event created to promote startups and new ideas and to increase "creative collisions" in emerging entrepreneurial ecosystems. Come pitch your idea for a new business, product, service, or solution for a chance to win! Attendees 21 and up will also receive a drink voucher for Ozark Beer Co. brews!
* Attendees: Open to anyone – bring your coworkers, friends, family – anyone! Just have them sign up here. Everyone planning to attend must register.
* Contestants: This competition is open to anyone who wants to share their idea for a chance to win $500! You have 60 seconds to pitch your idea, no more. No slides. No notes. Only one contestant can speak per pitch.
PRIZES!
There will be three winners selected by a panel of judges who will each take home a $500 check! The winners will then move on to the final round for a chance to compete for the $1,000 grand prize. The winners will have their pitches filmed and broadcast at Startup Night at the Ballpark at the Arkansas Naturals baseball game on July 2nd. The grand prize winner will be a People’s Choice vote - ballgame attendees will vote for their favorite pitch! More information about Startup Night at the Ballpark will be announced soon.
